Nothing else about $f$ and $g$ is known — not their formulas, and not their values at $x = 3$ .

Evaluate

$L = \lim_{x \to 3}\left[\frac{f(x) - 4g(x)}{\left[g(x)\right]^2 + 5} \;+\; \frac{x^2 - 9}{x - 3}\right]$

The two fractions do not get the same treatment. Give $L$ rounded to two decimal places.
